Driver Critically Injured
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – The Chesterfield County Police Department is investigating a two-vehicle crash that critically injured one man. The crash occurred on Hopkins Road near Thurston Road at about 9:07 p.m. yesterday. Police said a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 truck was traveling north on Hopkins Road when the driver sideswiped a 2008 Ford F-250 truck traveling south. The Dodge truck then struck a tree and overturned. The driver of the Dodge truck was transported to VCU Medical Center with critical injuries. The other driver was not injured. Police continue their investigation into this crash.
