Donate Food And Receive $2 Off Admission To Bandfest
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Teens who bring a donation for the Central Virginia Food Bank to Bandfest, United for Change this Saturday will receive $2 off admission. Suggested donations include canned fish or meat, peanut butter, rice, and boxed cereal or pasta. Bandfest, United for Change is Saturday, March 14, 6-10 p.m., at Southside Church of the Nazarene, 6851 Courthouse Road. Youths in middle and high school are invited for a night of music, games and entertainment. The following bands are scheduled to perform: Audible View, Eat the Center, Look to the Sky, Our City Sleeps, The District Kids and Men of Leisure. Admission is $7 per person or $5 with a donation of nonperishable food. The event is sponsored by the Chesterfield County Youth Planning and Development Department, Substance Abuse Free Environment Inc., or SAFE, and Southside Church of the Nazarene.
