Dining and entertainment chain Dave & Buster’s will open the company’s first location in Central Virginia this coming April at West Broad Village. The 16,000 square-foot location will bring more than 175 new jobs to the Short Pump area. Positions as greeters, bartenders, and servers, among other jobs, are all open.
“There are plenty of dining options in Short Pump, but none of them are accompanied by The Giant – a giant crane that grabs giant prizes,” General Manager James Lavvorn said. “One of Dave & Buster’s most popular attractions is the Derby Owner’s Club. This role playing game places four players in the shoes of thoroughbred racehorse breeders, jockeys, owners and trainers. Other games [will] include classics like skeeball and a NASCAR racing simulator.”
