Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen announces fall class schedule

More than 100 classes offered; more than 20 of which at the center’s Regency Square Mall satellite location.

The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen has opened registration for its fall 2014 classes at its Glen Allen campus and Regency Square Mall satellite location. With subjects ranging from ceramics to cupcake-making, there are more than 100 classes for children and adults–including many family-friendly options.

Classes cover topics including culinary arts, fiber arts, visual and performance arts and more. Instruction is structured to appeal to a wide range of abilities from beginners to experts of all ages. Class sizes are kept small to ensure maximum benefit for participants with generally no more than 15 students.

“We are very proud of the breadth and depth of our instructional programs,” said Arts Center President K Alferio. “Whether you’re eight or 80, a novice painter or an expert photographer, we’ve got something for you.”

Several classes this season at the Arts Center are geared towards the holiday season including holiday candy-making and ornament crafting.

“Our holiday-themed classes are a great way for families to get into the spirit of the season,” Alferio continued.” And, mom, dad and the kids will learn skills that will last long after the holidays are over
and that will provide family-fun for years to come.”

Registration for many classes at the Arts Center and its Regency Square Mall location is under $35. For more information, including a full listing of courses, costs and dates, or to register for classes, visit the center’s website or call 804.261.ARTS. Availability for classes is on a first-come basis.
