The Fan District Association is sponsoring a Community Forum at 7PM on Wednesday, June 27th at Binford Middle School to discuss possible changes to the current Fan Restricted Parking Districts.
The City of Richmond together with its parking contractor, Standard Parking, recently offered several possible changes to alleviate parking in the Fan in response to neighborhood parking complaints. But no decision has been made by the City at this time to go forward with any of these proposals. Rather, the FDA and the City are soliciting additional feed-back from Fan residents.
To that end, we will be holding a Community Forum to provide residents with a chance to hear directly from Standard Parking and to ask questions and offer suggestions and opinions relating to the various proposals. After this Community Forum, the FDA will meet with the City and other affected community associations and representatives to develop our position on what changes, if any, may be warranted to the current restricted parking districts. Please try to attend the June 27th Community Forum so that your views will be heard.
