Luke Cockey, 23, has died from injuries he sustained last week in the wee hours during an argument that turned violent at the intersection of Rowland and W. Main St.

According to the Richmond Times-Dispatch, stemming from this incident, Robinson Hogan, 25, of the 2200 block Floyd Ave. (a couple of blocks from the site of the altercation) has been charged with felonious assault and may face more charges when he appears before a grand jury next week.

Cockey died Friday at VCU Medical Center from his injuries. Richmond prosecutors said today that they plan to upgrade the charge against Hogan but released no other details.
