Church Hill RVA checks out the books and more at the East End Library

Community libraries are about so much more than reading material.

From Ms. Rogers’s Neighborhood: A new children’s coordinator brings more ideas, programs, and fun to the East End Library:

Julie Rogers began just a few weeks ago, but when I went to visit her, her efforts were already bearing a whole lot of fruit. A story time by members of the Virginia Repertory Theatre had attracted so many children that they had to move into a larger room. With 50 kids, the readers/performers had a lot on their hands, yet to me, the littles looked enthralled and well-behaved.
