Center for Healthy Communities announced at East End Economic Summit
The center will be provide health education to the community.
The construction of a Center for Healthy Communities was announced this past Friday at The East End Economic Summit.
According to coverage in Richmond BizSense:
The Center for Healthy Communities will be built at the former Parsley’s gas station. It will be across the street from a 25,000-square-foot medical office building Bon Secours also has in the pipeline.
This new center will cost about 8 million and construction could start in a year to 18 months, although no definitive date has been set.
According to a piece in the RTD, the new center:
…will be home to classes and seminars aimed at improving the health of local residents…It will be across the street from a 25,000-square-foot medical office building Bon Secours also has in the pipeline.
This announcement is just the latest in Bon Secours’ long-term investment in the East End. CEO Peter J.
