The Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities will kick off its series of free family movies, Movies in the Park, on Friday, June 15, at 8:30 p.m. with a showing of “The Muppets” in Byrd Park. The movie will be shown on the lawn beside Fountain Lake, which is located beside the 500 block of South Boulevard.
The series will continue through Aug. 17 with free PG rated or PG-13 rated movies in parks around the city every Friday night at 8:30 p.m. The schedule is as follows:
