Nine years after Richmond’s historic canals were restored to spur investment and to create a lively district lined with restaurants and other entertainment, development along the $52 million Canal Walk remains a work in progress. […] “It’s always been a beautiful place to take a stroll. Now, it’s become a very vibrant part of downtown,” said Jack Berry, executive director of Venture Richmond, which manages the Canal Walk on behalf of the city. “It’s really starting to change.”
