Prior posts (here and here) note that “SES” will make free tutoring available to some of Petersburg’s Title I schools (i.e., schools that receive federal funds under Title I of No Child Left Behind). Today’s P-I notes that “Timely Tutoring” will offer additional tutoring assistance, to students of Petersburg High School (not a Title I school), Walnut Hill (a Title I school, but not eligible for SES because it is accredited), and JEB Stuart Middle School (in addition to SES, as JEB Stuart is at risk of “falling into a fifth year of improvement status”).
