Byrd Theater is hosting a special event on Tuesday, September 18th @ 6 pm. “Maxed Out: Hard Times, Easy Credit, and the Era of the Predatory Lenders” is a documentary film about debt in America.

Americans, more and more, have been falling into the trap of making minimum payments and cashing-in on the equity of their house for more spending money. But when specialty loans reset with higher interest rates, the day of reckoning arrives and payments bust the budget, leaving people homeless and swamped in debt.

The RTD will host a panel discussion after the screening.
