Bring four cans of food to The Diamond on Friday night, or cross the river on Saturday, as the Central Virginia Food Bank celebrates Christmas in July.

The Richmond-based band “Offering” will host a two-concert food drive to help stock the Food Bank’s shelves on July 25 and 26.

The first concert happens just before Friday’s Richmond Braves game; the stadium will be decorated for Christmas and families can take pictures with “Santa Duck.” The concert is slated to run from 5:30 until 7:00pm with an admission of four cans of food. The Food Bank is in particular need of peanut butter, tuna, canned chicken and pasta items.

On Saturday the band Offering and other musical guests will perform your favorite holiday music at Positive Vibe Cafe on Forest Hill Avenue from 1:00 until 9:00pm. Food donations will be collected at the door.
