This Wednesday, December 5, from 6:30 to 8:30, the Visual Arts Center is hosting a book launch for Body of Evidence, a collection of short stories by Richmond authors that are all inspired by the spooky assemblages of Chuck Scalin. Scalin, interested in crime scene shows like “Dexter” and “CSI,” houses his assemblages in evidence boxes. For more on Scalin’s work, check out Ghostprint Gallery’s website.

The event will include readings and a one-night show of Scalin’s assemblages. The Visual Arts Center is on the corner of Allen and Main Streets.
