Bodillaz is opening in Jackson Ward
Expect a new food option on 2nd Street this August. Bodillaz is planning on opening in Jackson Ward later this summer.
The 2nd Street corridor in Jackson Ward will soon be home to another local restaurant. Bodillaz will open at 321 N. 2nd Street in August near Thai Corner, Ándale Taco Chop Shop, Slideways Bistro and Big Herm’s Kitchen. The new Bodillaz space was previously the home to Sweet Peaz Bistro.
Bert Terranova, the owner of Bodillaz believes that the Jackson Ward location will be appealing to downtown office workers and takeout. Terranova stated:
“Bodillaz on Broad is more a VCU and college spot…Now that we’re closer to downtown, we’re going to have more of a professional, formal setting.”
During the Washington Redskins Training Camp, you will be able to find the Bodillaz truck on W. Leigh Street at the training camp food court.
