Big Bike Race™ popup shop now open at Short Pump Town Center

Perfect for the suburbanite who has no intention of going anywhere near the UCI World Championships but still wants a souvenir!

From Richmond.com:

A temporary shop selling a full line of official racing souvenirs from UCI Road World Championships opens Thursday at Short Pump Town Center.

Saxon Shoes president Gary Weiner, in partnership with Promotional Considerations General Manager Jeff Marks, will open the 3,000-square-foot store at 10 a.m. on the mall’s lower level off the main plaza.

The pop-up will use part of the space previously occupied by Abercrombie & Fitch and its children’s wear shop, abercrombie.

While a cool concept, the store is nowhere near any of the race courses. Then again, the VMFA recently opened a satellite gift shop at Short Pump, and it seems to be doing well.
