A man wearing a plaid shirt, dark glasses and a Virginia Tech ball cap held up a West End bank yesterday and escaped with an undetermined amount of money.

Richmond police said the man entered the BB&T branch at 7100 Three Chopt Road about 11 a.m. and demanded money from a teller. The man did not display a weapon, police said.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
