BandyWorks LLC announced today that it has located its offices to 215 N Market Street in Old Towne Petersburg. The company is expanding its internet design and development services that provide integrated solutions to business throughout the southeast region of the United States. The company has begun hiring developers, designers and analysts to fulfill its expanding telecommunications work.
The company has already hired several additional positions and is actively recruiting additional staff for programming and design positions. “The company projects to have 25 jobs in place within the next few years here in Petersburg”, according to Tom Bandy, company founder and general manager.
Petersburg was selected because of its re-focused commitment to emerging business and excellent work environment. The city has an ideal feel for those who want the convenience of local services without the hassle of overcrowded and expensive commuting. Mr. Bandy stated the local merchants had made them feel right at home and provide all the services they need. The easy access to interstate 95 and 85 make it very convenient for them to host and visit their southeast clients.

BandyWorks provides the experience, process and manpower to accomplish integrated solutions. Its services address business process, system integration and internet design and development services. BandyWorks was formed in 2005 to provide enterprise solutions via the web. It is the latest of several companies that have been founded by the Bandy family since 1982. Previous companies include Information Systems Group, The Database Solutions Company and Empirical. Empirical was listed on the Software 500 in 1996. The owners and staff oversee daily operations and actively participate in client projects to ensure a consistent adherence to the experience-based approach that has provided excellent solutions to their clients for nearly 3 decades. The company operates two offices – Petersburg, VA USA and Bangalore India.
