Artist P. Buckley Moss to speak at Cultural Arts Center Wednesday

The Virginia Tech speaker and special needs art education advocate stops by the Glen Allen center at 6:00 PM.

Artst P. Buckley Moss, known for her paintings depicting the Shenandoah Valley and for her work with special needs children, will speak Wednesday night at the Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen, according to the Richmond Times-Dispatch.

The 81-year-old painter, whose name adorns Virginia Tech’s newly-minted $100 million arts center following her $10 million donation, is a frequent speaker at the university.

Moss’s work has been on display at the Cultural Arts Center since September 3rd and will remain on exhibit through the 30th.

The engagement, being held from 6:00-9:00 PM, is free and open to the public. The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen is located at 2880 Mountain Road in Glen Allen.
