What A Difference A Day Makes … Celebrate Each Day
What: Art Auction and Reception
When: June 21, 2008
Where: Glavé Kocen Gallery at 1620 W. Main St.
This Silent and Live Auction to benefit cancer research at VCU Massey Cancer Center will be all heart and soul. Many of the artists donating have ties to cancer – victories and losses alike.
In the laid back atmosphere of the Glavé Kocen gallery, the evening will begin with a silent auction focusing mainly on art, but with a peppering of other items of a creative sort. At 8 p.m., the pieces will be auctioned off live – expect a fun and animated auction experience.
Partner all of this with great food from some of the finest caterers in Richmond and a performance by Richmond favorite Susan Greenbaum, and by the end of the evening, you will have celebrated together the difference this day will make in the lives of so many.
The Glavé Kocen gallery is a 3200 square foot contemporary art gallery in Richmond, Virginia. It has a warm and inviting approach to artists and art collectors alike. Their mission is to seek out positive artists creating positive work and present these nationally recognized artists to the region.
