Cierra S. Brockenbrough arrested in connection with N. 28th Street homicide

The Richmond Police Department has arrested a woman in connection with Monday night’s homicide.

Earlier today, officers arrested Cierra S. Brockenbrough, 27, of the 1900 block of Cedar Street, on a charge of conspiracy to commit murder in connection with the shooting death of Dwayne J. Fleming, 27, in the 1800 block of North 28th Street just after 6 p.m.

Detectives believe that Brockenbrough and Fleming knew each other, and that the motive for the crime was robbery.
