Annual Henrico Harvest Festival takes place Saturday at Crump Park

The family-friendly festival kicks off Saturday, October 17th at noon at Meadow Farm Museum, within Crump Park, in Glen Allen.

Henrico County will hold its annual Harvest Festival on Saturday, Oct. 17 at Meadow Farm Museum/Crump Park, 3400 Mountain Road in Glen Allen.

The free family event will be held from noon to 4 p.m. and features many hands-on activities and demonstrations depicting typical homemaking and farming tasks of the era. Some of these living history activities include cider making, candle dipping, corn shelling, blacksmithing, woodworking and a natural dye demonstration.
