Author, entertainer, television producer and motivational speaker Alex-Zan will visit Vernon Johns Middle School on Monday, Oct. 29 at 8:30 a.m. Recognized as one of 12 blacks to first desegregate Virginia Public Schools, Mr. Zan now works as a “performing teacher,” helping children to develop their self-worth.
