Win a visit from Nutzy!

Well, this is guaranteed to make your child the most popular kid in school…

During the month of October, Richmond Squirrels fans ages 14 and younger can submit an essay on why Nutzy should come to their class’s Halloween1 party. I’m told Nutzy himself will read2 the essays and select one lucky winner.

The winner will receive:

  • A one-hour visit from Nutzy to his/her classroom’s Halloween party
  • A pizza party for the class
  • A prize for each of his/her classmates
  • A Flying Squirrels prize pack

During his visit, Nutzy will also be available for pictures with the class, story time, and (of course) plenty of high-fives.

Essays can be submitted via email to stefanie.sacks@squirrelsbaseball.com through Wednesday, October 23rd. Please be sure to include the student’s name, the name of the school, and contact information for your child’s teacher. The winner (and his/her teacher) will be notified by October 25th.

And don’t forget about SQUIRRELOWEEN on Sunday October 27th. From 2:00 – 6:00 PM, the kiddos can come trick-or-treat through the Diamond, make some spooky crafts, and even enjoy a hayride. Bring the whole family in costume for a chance to win the costume contest!

Footnotes

  1. I’m not sure how many schools actually refer to them as “Halloween” parties anymore, but I’m sure Nutzy would be happy to come to your child’s Harvest Party, Fairy Tale Parade, or Pumpkin Patch Whosie Whatsit, as well.
  2. He can read, too?! Is there anything that squirrel can’t do?
