VCU School of the Arts Cinematheque Series releases fall schedule, starts tonight

Ten art films for free shown in 35mm.

The VCU Cinematheque Cinematheque Series will show ten art films from around the world for free on a first come first serve basis.The movies will be shown Tuesdays evenings,starting at 7:00 PM.

What’s great is that they’ll be shown as they’re meant to be seen in the Grace Street Theater in 35mm with VCU’s state-of-the-art projecting system. The Grace Street Theater, at 934 W. Grace St., seats 250 people in a stadium-seating layout.

Check out all the films at the first link. The series kicks off tonight with “In the Mood for Love” by Wong Kar Wai, from China. The movie was produced in 2000 and is focused on Hong Kong neighbors who form a bond when they both suspect their spouses of affairs.
