VCU Arts Student shows take over Anderson Gallery and the Depot

From March 26th to May 17th, the Anderson Gallery at 907 1⁄2 West Franklin Street, and the Depot Building, located three blocks away at 814 West Broad Street, will be hosting students’ work from the School of Arts. Works will be shown by both under grads (Juried Fine Arts, Design & Kinetic Imaging Exhibitions) and grad students (MFA Thesis Exhibitions).
Under graduate works will be shown March 26th through April 5th with an opening reception Thursday, March 26th, at 5:00 PM.
The MFA thesis exhibition is the final requirement for students in the graduate fine arts and design programs, representing the culmination of each artist’s accomplishments over a two-year period. Round 1 will begin April 10th through the 26th, Opening reception on Friday, April 10, 5-8 pm and Round 2 taking place May 1st through the 17th. There will be an opening reception on Friday, May 1st at 5:00 PM.
Student Show Gallery hours (Anderson Gallery and the Depot): Monday-Friday, 10-5; Saturday & Sunday, noon-5.
