The Valentine hosting Scott’s Addition Walking Tour this Sunday
Those interested in attending should meet at the intersection of Boulevard and Norfolk Street at 2:00 PM.
From the Valentine Richmond History Center:
Named for General Winfield Scott, this early 20th century commercial and industrial area contains what is perhaps Richmond’s best selection of Art Deco and Moderne commercial architecture. Once the home of the Richmond City Stables and the Moore’s Field baseball stadium, the area today is renewing itself as a business, residential and entertainment district. Meet at the southwest corner of Boulevard and Norfolk Street at 2:00 PM.
