Street Art Festival site to re-open
You’ll be able to get up close to the art again soon.

The GRTC bus barn was converted into a canvas for artists from all over the world. After the Richmond Street Art Festival in September of 2013 it was out of bounds for a short while. Luckily through hard work it was re-opened to the public. Unfortunately that only lasted until November when a security guard was assaulted on the property while patrolling late night.
RTD is reporting and it’s been confirmed by City Councilman Jon Baliles and RVA Street Festival authorities that the GRTC property on Cary Street will be re-opened. A formal announcement is expected soon.
