Snow Queen applications due November 1st

It’s a scholarship program. (No, it really is.)

Junior girls on track to graduate from high school in the spring 2015 are invited to apply to become the Children Museum of Richmond’s next Snow Queen. In addition to holding the title of Snow Queen for a solid year, the winner will also receive a $1,000 scholarship to go towards continuing her education in a field related to child development.

Candidates must:

  • Be able to volunteer at least 25 hours as CMoR’s Snow Queen
  • Show balance between sports, academics, and community service
  • Plan to pursue a career that will promote the creativity of children
  • Demonstrate creativity in her own life
  • Be willing to make public appearances as Snow Queen for the Children’s Museum at all three museum locations and off-site museum events
  • Have good grades and academic standing
