RVA MakerFest now taking applications

Make cool stuff? Share it at the inaugural event in September.

Richmond creators with various backgrounds and skills will come together to participate in the inaugural RVA MakerFest at the Science Museum of Virginia in September. Organizers of the event, which includes The Martin Agency and 804RVA, want to create new collaborations between existing makers and inspire new ones.

The free and family-friendly event will feature interactive activities and demonstrations from various local makers ranging from blacksmiths, glassblowers, coders, engineers, entrepreneurs, hobbyists, students, and more. The event will also showcase exhibiters and speakers from various backgrounds.

Organizers are accepting online applications for booths, retail or activity spaces, and lectures until July 15th at 12:00 AM. Applications are $10.
