FALL LINE FEST announces more bands, juried art show

Local acts Jonathan Vasser and The Milkstains will join Death and The Hold Steady at the second annual festival.

Organizers of FALL LINE FEST–which runs September 5th and 6th–recently announced an additional 19 bands to this year’s existing lineup (see below). Three more acts will be announced, bringing this year’s total to 51 musical acts that will play at various venues.1

Advance passes for the weekend festival are available for $30. No tickets will be available for individual shows.

Organizers also announced that Dr. Lisa Freiman, Director of VCU’s Institute for Contemporary Art, will jury an art show at Gallery5, along with three community-based public art displays within the festival’s footprint.

FALL LINE FEST returns this year with artist Real Estate, The Hold Steady, Death,1 Matthew E. White, and more (see below) during the two-day event spanning September 5th and 6th.

In its second year, FALL LINE FEST celebrates music, art, and food with a multi-venue experience within walkable areas of downtown and The Fan.

Music venues for this year’s festival:

  • The Camel
