The New Community School is Central Virginia’s only college preparatory school for grades six through twelve devoted to restructuring the language foundation of dyslexic students. By pairing intensive remediation of reading, writing and spelling kills with challenging academic courses and activities that foster character development, new Community helps students who have struggled in school rebuild shattered self-esteems, discover their true abilities, and achieve academic independence.
