Pridefest on Brown’s Island this Saturday
Music and entertainment and a special focus on Youth Pride.
Virginia Pride is the organizer behind Pridefest and they strive to provide unique events designed to instill pride, celebrate unity and embrace diversity in Virginia. The ultimate goals is to “improve the lives of LGBT Virginians by creating visibility and promoting full human and civil rights through education, networking and celebrations that advocate equality”.
Pridefest is just one of the many events that Virginia Pride puts on and this year the fest has grown so much they’ve switched to the larger location of Brown’s Island.
