PHOTOS: RVA’s 3rd Annual Beard & ‘Stache Championships

Seems like the event was a TON of fun.

Over 200 competitors traveled a combined 50,000 miles from 22 states (and the UK) to take part in last month’s 3rd Annual Mid-Atlantic Beard & ‘Stache Championships put on by the RVA Beard League.

Among the awards handed out was the “Longest Beard” Travel Award that went to Steven Blackwell who traveled 3,662 miles from Warwickshire, U.K. to attend the event. In addition to the follicle competition, last month’s championships raised $12,200 for Safe Harbor, a local shelter and resource for victims of sexual and domestic violence.
