The annual G40 Summit is now underway throughout the city. Celebrating the “Art of the Mural,” here’s a collection of murals both finished and in progress that you’ll see around town.
Several of the world’s best muralists are in town to celebrate the G40 Summit’s “Art of the Mural.” For the next month, there will be workshops, discussions, and music celebrating the best in contemporary “lowbrow” art. I love this project! Seeing these murals as part of my daily route is a lovely visual hopscotch.
Our family has been mesmerized watching some of these unfold in Shockoe!

I am always excited to see a new mural go up in the city, and this has been the best thing to happen to our walls in a while. Keep up the good work, Richmond is looking great!
