  1. Bravo RVAnews! I’d love to see more posts like this – exploring holes in the wall around this awesome city that not a lot of people know about!

  2. Agreed. This was a great post. Imagine what this place looked like before the smoking law.

  3. I agree with Christie and Eric, this is fantastic. More please! Maybe even open future explorations to suggestions?

  4. I always wondered what this place is like. Currently making plans to go, brb. I’ll let you know what I win!

So, first I will buy some lottery tickets, then go to the off-track racing parlor, then bingo. Having lost all of my money I will skip paying rent, credit card bills, and student loans, and just declare bankruptcy.

I don’t think it’s AWESOME that peoples’ weaknesses and hopes are being exploited by gambling parlors.

Can you do one on the Bridge club behind Krispey Kreme, Not even joking this stuff is fascinating.

  8. I’m glad places like this are being explored! Most people just drive by without having a look inside.
I volunteered there pre-smoking ban and I felt like I smoked 6 packs in a few hours. However, some bingo halls still allow smoking. If that’s your thing, try Pop’s Bingo in Southside.
If you go here to play, prepare to get serious! It’s not like relaxed Sticky Rice blingo, there are full-time bingo players who will not be pleased if you declare “Bingo!” without just cause. You can win some serious cash though, so it’s worth paying attention.
