Museum District Association hosting Mother’s Day House & Garden Tour May 8th

Nine homes in the historic Richmond neighborhood will be featured as part of this year’s tour.

From the Museum District Association:

Join us for the Museum District Association’s main event on Sunday, May 8, 2016! The Mother’s Day House & Garden Tour is always a special treat and a wonderful way to honor one of the most important people in our lives – Mom. The Mother’s Day House & Garden Tour supports neighborhood maintenance and beautification projects as well as local nonprofits. Previous recipients have included Albert Hill Middle School PTA, William Fox Elementary PTA, PAL Veterinary Hospital and ACTS.

We have 9 homes featured on the tour, including the newest home in the Museum District, just completed in 2015. An additional highlight of the 2016 tour is “Art in the Alley”, a private collection of South American-inspired wall art created by a Museum District resident and local artists. Be sure to take advantage of the tour trolley that will run continuously between 1-6PM, making stops at each home on the tour and the Virginia Historic Society.

Advance tickets my be purchased online at museumdistrict.org or at one of the following ticket locations:
