HCPS documents Regency Square mural created by Freeman students

Students at the high school painted hundreds of panels, each of which was part of the overall city skyline mural.

Last fall, students from Freeman High School partnered with local artists Matt Lively and Hamilton Glass to create a mural for Regency Square mall depicting the city skyline, as viewed from Manchester.

Working together in collaboration with their art teachers, the scene was divided into hundreds of panels. Each student was then assigned a block to contribute to the mural, leaving their own personal mark and adding their respective individual styles to the collective work of art.

Henrico County Public Schools documented the mural’s unveiling and put together a video showing the process.
