Gallery5 celebrates 10 years of creativity with a Friday blowout

You don’t want to miss this party.

Gallery5 has become such a part of the Richmond cultural scene it’s hard to imagine that they’re only 10 years old. In the spot where once sat fire engines you can now see bands, art, and even sexy people taking their clothes off. They started 10 years ago with a party and that’s how they plan to wrap up their decade.

We will be exhibiting 10 iconic images captured via photography at G5 alongside an installation by local artist Dave Watkins and two performances from RVA Dance Collective as well as a looping video of footage from the past 10 years.

At 7pm we will unveil the new Gallery5 sign on the front of the building, designed and painted by Charles J. Berger.
