Byrd Theatre hosts Downton Abbey premiere

One of the most beloved television shows is getting the cinematic treatment, as half of Downton Abbey‘s third season premiere will screen at the Byrd Theatre.

The Byrd Theatre will host a free screening of the first half of Downton Abbey’s Season 3 premiere episode on January 3rd, 2013 at 7:15 PM. Seating will be given out on a first-come basis, and period attire is encouraged for those who attend. Doors open at 6:30 PM. The event is being put on by Community Idea Stations.

Only one hour of the two-hour episode will be shown at the Byrd Theatre. The full episode will later premiere on PBS stations on Sunday, January 6th.
