‘Angels In America: Perestroika’ comes to Richmond Triangle Players February 6th

The show comes to RTP for one night only, February 6th.

From Richmond Triangle Players:

Last year, Richmond Triangle Players produced one of the most lauded plays of the 20th Century, Angels in America: Millennium Approaches, in a highly acclaimed production. Now, we complete the circle with the sequel and resolution to this astounding work, in a staged reading featuring the original RTP cast.

The second half of Tony Kushner’s Pulitzer Prize-winning epic Angels in America, Perestroika steers the characters introduced in Millennium Approaches from the opportunistic eighties to a new sense of community in the nineties. The plague of the AIDS worsens, relationships fall apart as new ones form, and unexpected friendships take shape. And the mission of the Angel becomes clear.

Proceeds will benefit the Richmond Theater Artists’ Fund.

There will be one performance only, Saturday, February 6th at 7:00 PM. General admission seating is $10. For tickets, call 804.346.8113 or visit the theatre’s ticketing website.
