Have you ever wanted to learn Turkish? Here’s your chance!

From the American Turkish Friendship Association:

ATFA invites you to join Turkish classes to learn one of the oldest languages in the world. Classes are centered on learning Turkish grammar, developing proficient speaking and writing skills. Our teachers are native Turkish speakers.

American Turkish Friendship Association (ATFA) is a non-profit non-governmental organization with no political affiliation dedicated to addressing the social and cultural needs of Turkish and American friends living in the Washington D.C. and surrounding states. We aim to promote of understanding of American and Turkish cultures, and to foster integrity through cultural and educational activities. Providing an inspiring atmosphere for the friends and helping them getting better integrated with their local communities are some of the primary goals of our association. Any contribution to the peace, prosperity and harmony is greatly appreciated within our association. We believe getting to know each other will build bridges among our community.

Classes are held at 3307 Church Road, Suite 200 in the West End and begin March 10th. They run for eight weeks through April 28th.
