American Idol parade and Rayvon Owen concert set for today

The mini-concert will take place around 12:45 PM at the James Center.

According to organizers at “Idol,” Owen will participate in a celebratory parade starting around City Hall at 11:30 a.m. The parade will end at the James Center, where he will give a 30-minute performance from 12:45 to 1:15 p.m.

There have been many things that have messed up traffic int downtown Richmond over the years and now we can add American Idol to that list. Hometown boy Rayvon Owen who has made it into the top four of American Idol is coming back to town for a quick parade and concert to drum up viewers for the final shows.
