Welcome crazy Scientologists!
You’ve probably all read/heard the news that the Church of Scientology is opening up a new branch(?) in Carytown. I’ve read a couple articles on the new store(?), but this Commonwealth Times article is the first one “tell it like it is,” as they say. It’s a wee bit crazy that in a town with press as purportedly conservative as Richmond no one’s written about Scientology’s basic tenets or purported (– Ed.) history of violence/extortion. Good for you CT.

this is awesome. i was wondering when this was going to happen. i had been building a small temple in my room out of Hubbard’s books. But now, I can go be a complete moron in an actual physical location with other complete morons.

At the very least you’d think the Carytown Merchants Association would have something to say about that SIGN. Even that LRH-awful sign were for a Cartier jeweler, I’d want to tear it down.
