It’s a Christmas miracle!
Turns out the coats weren’t stolen at all.
Jeff Baldwin from the Salvation Army just let us know that upon further investigation it was discovered that the “missing” coats had actually been moved to the distribution section of the warehouse and given out to the public last week.
However, if you’re still moved by the concept of coats being stolen from the Salvation Army and want to donate, you can stop by the Christmas Center at Chesterfield Towne Center (the old Dillard’s building).

Wow. Nice work, Salvation Army.
And all this time I thought some guy was super warm, giggling in a small room with his 1000 coats.
