7th District

The East End 7th District is all of Richmond east of Mosby Street/Mechanicsville Turnpike, with a bump to the west along Leigh Street to 14th Street. Perhaps the most financially diverse district, the 7th includes the apartment/condo communities of Shockoe Bottom and Tobacco Row, the residential neighborhoods of the greater Church Hill area, Fulton, part of Mosby Court, Creighton Court, and Fairfield Court. At 65%, the 7th is one of Richmond’s 5 majority black districts. A healthy 74% of the voting age population are registered to vote.
