Virginia Historical Society takes fans behind the scenes of Virginia college hoops, football

Two tours this weekend will give fans behind-the-scenes access to the museum as they explore the history of sports in the Commonwealth.

The Virginia Historical Society is hosting two tours Virginia sports lovers will definitely be into this weekend.

From the VHS:

Go behind-the-scenes with the Virginia Historical Society (VHS) this Friday and Saturday to kickoff your weekend with all things college football and basketball in our collections. Learn about heated rivalries, buzzer-beater finishes, and all-star performances as represented by rare photographs, programs, and other memorabilia.

Join us this Friday, November 20, at 2:00 p.m. for a tour, “Gridirons and Hoops: College Football and Basketball in the Old Dominion.” Tickets are $10/VHS members and $17/nonmembers. Advance registration is recommended.
