VCU single-game tickets go on sale Tuesday

On Tuesday, October 23rd, VCU Athletics will sell a very limited number of standing-room-only tickets to Men’s Basketball games.

In July we chronicled the harsh reality of a post-Final Four VCU: tickets are scarce. With student demand, and season ticket sales at an unprecedented level, fans are going to be left out on the cold sidewalks of Broad Street. On Tuesday, October 23rd, VCU Athletics is selling 200 standing-room-only tickets to each game, and a limited number of seats to games during the holiday break. On the brink of another sold out season, this could be the final opportunity to purchase tickets to the most popular show in all of Richmond: HAVOC!

Tickets can be purchased here at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, October 23rd.

The most popular attraction in Richmond this winter will be VCU men’s basketball games at the Verizon Wireless Arena at the Stuart C. Siegel Center. Beginning on Tuesday, Oct. 23, fans will have the opportunity to purchase a limited number of single-game tickets to see the Rams this year.

Fewer than 200 standing room only tickets will be available for each home game. These tickets are located on the concourse inside the Verizon Wireless Arena. The ticket serves as a reserved standing room only spot behind a specific section.

Additional single-game tickets will be available for sale on Tuesday, October 23 for games during the holiday break when students are not in session. Fans should be advised that single-game tickets purchased for holiday break games are directly adjacent to the student sections. While students are not in session, those sections are expected to be full. The holiday break games include Western Kentucky (Dec. 18), Longwood (Dec. 21), Fairleigh Dickinson (Dec. 29), Lehigh (Jan. 5) and Dayton (Jan. 9).

Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets online through our ticketing system, click here for access. In addition, tickets will be on sale in person at the VCU Ticket Office at the Siegel Center or by phone at (804) 828-7267.

Visiting teams may return additional single-game tickets to the VCU Ticket Office. VCU Season Ticket Waiting List members will be notified first should visiting teams return tickets. Fans interested in single-game ticket availability should check the week of the game with the VCU Ticket Office.
