The 2012-2013 VCU Basketball schedule is AWESOME

The Rams announced their most ambitious non-conference schedule in history with the opportunity to play 10-12 teams from the 2012 NCAA tournament.

After months of waiting, the Virginia Commonwealth University Rams’ 2012-13 basketball schedule is finally complete. The Rams announced their most ambitious non-conference schedule in history on the heels of the jump from the Colonial Athletic Association to the Atlantic 10 Conference. VCU will have the opportunity to play 10-12 teams from the 2012 NCAA tournament which is the most in VCU’s 44 year history. VCU will have the opportunity to play in 15 nationally televised games before the A10 tournament.

The home highlights of the season will be Butler (rematch of the 2011 Final Four) and Wichita State (rematch of the 2012 NCAA tournament). The Rams will also get the opportunity to face countless former Rams including Alabama head coach Anthony Grant, Minnesota head coach Tubby Smith, and Duke assistant coach Jeff Capel. The 2012-13 season will be unlike anything before for the VCU Rams.

Yay! Now are there any tickets left for those of us that didn’t shell out the coin for season tickets?

    Celia,

Unfortunately, it looks like it will be tough to get tickets.
