Roller Derby boot camp for young and old(er)

Learn the basics of safe roller derbying.

Roller derby has the reputation of being elbow throwing chaotic madness as women fling themselves about a rink. There is still chaos and women do fling themselves about the ring but the madness and elbows have been replaced by rules and straight up athleticism.

The RTD ran an article this past Saturday focused on Commonwealth Roller Derby that will shatter any of your preconceptions. The focus on the article is how this is a great sport for the younger set and the focus is on having a fun, safe time on the rink. It also helps to have the basic skills taught and to that end Commonwealth Roller Derby is offering a Beginners Boot Camp for both adults and children as young as seven.

Details on bootcamp are below and you can find out more on their website or Facebook page.
